Passover Apple Crisp

Having some homemade Passover Granola on hand opens up a whole new world of Passover desserts to you! Try this scrumptious version of a classic apple crisp and you may never go back to the brownie mix again.

  • 6-8 apples (Granny Smith, McIntosh or Gala), peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 1/2 cup(s) sugar
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup(s) Passover granola (see Kosher Hostess recipe)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine the apples, sugar, lemon juice, nutmeg and cinnamon directly in the casserole dish. Mix to coat the apples. Cover tightly with tin foil and bake for 45 minutes.

3. Remove the apples from the oven. (The apples can be wrapped tightly with foil and refrigerated for up to a day at this point). Sprinkle the top of the apples with granola. Bake for an additional 10 minutes and serve as is or with your favorite parve or dairy ice cream.
