Sage and Pine Nut Yoghurt Sauce

This tangy sauce brings the flavors of the Mediterranean to a non-traditional dish, creating a healthier and lighter alternative to traditional potato latkes and sour cream. (Find the recipe for Zuchinni Latkes here.)

Zucchini Latkes with Sage and Pine Nut Yoghurt Sauce

These zucchini latkes are the Middle Eastern alternative to Eastern European potato latkes, and adding flavors from the Mediterranean helps create this lighter and healthier alternative. While the latkes may be a little time-consuming, they are really easy to make, and the yoghurt sauce can even be made a day in advance. (Click here for the recipe for Sage and Pine Nut Yoghurt Sauce.)
This recipe usually makes about 25-30 latkes.

Lemon-Garlic Roasted Turkey

This year we hosted Thanksgiving at home for the first time, which wasn't so daunting since my mother-in-law offered to cook almost EVERYTHING! The only thing I was in charge of was the turkey, and since I'd made a pretty good turkey leg once, with advice from our chef Sam Garelick, I figured it couldn't be that hard...

And, guess what? It wasn't! So here's my approximate recipe for a 12 pound roast turkey. Feel free to improvise (especially since these measurements are really estimates), and you may discover a new favorite entree!
